1. Alphonso mango (Ratanagiri aam)
Alphonso mango is a seasonal fruit, it’s one of the most delicious mangoes and is widely world-famous.

Ratnagiri is also called the “king of fruit” and Ratnagiri is a place which comes in Maharashtra, this mango is named after him.
2. Kesar mango
The Kesar mango is a famous variety in the state of Gujarat.
It is light red in colour above and after the Ratnagiri mango, it has been placed second on the basis of popularity.
Its pulp is good in taste like mango shake in hand while taking a sunbath in front of the beach.
3. Deshari mango
This mango is very famous in the royal country Lucknow, the Deshari mango first appeared in the garden of the nawab of Lucknow (UP). since the number of Deshari plants has been produced and planted throughout India.
Its kernels are small in size but don’t go in its size it is very – very sweet in taste.
4. Amrapali mango
Basically, this mango is a hybrid variety of “Deshari” and “Neelum” created in 1971, and this seed was given by D.r Pijush Kanti Majumdar.
Its flesh is a deep orange-red and contains approx 2.5-3.0 times more B carotene content than other varieties of mango.
5. Chaunsa mango
Chaunsa is one of the sweetest mangoes grown in North India, it has a medium along and has a golden yellow color with a red blush.
This variety of mango was popularized by Sher Shah Suri throughout the Indian subcontinent.
In the joy of the victory over Humayun in Bihar (chausa), he named his favourite mango chaunsa.
6. Langra aam (Danka mango)
Langra mango is medium in size and green in colour.
The bright lemon-yellow flesh of the Langra is incredibly juicy and fibrous. the size of the seed is small and oval in shape.
This primarily grows in Varanasi and Banaras land (UP) state in India. and some parts of northern India.
7. Badami Mangoes
Badami mango is famous in the northern part of Karnataka. this delicious mango is known as Karnataka-Alphonso of Karnataka which is usually available from May to July month.
8. Himsagar (Khirsapti mangoes)
Himsagar which is also known as (khirsapati). is one of the popular mango varieties which is more popular in West Bengal.
You can see it in the market between May to June month. this mango does not contain fibre and is yellow and orange in colour on the inside.
This fruit is medium in size and weighs about 250 to 350 grams.
9. Raspuri (Sweet fruit)
The Raspuri has also known as (Pairi). a greatly popular variety in south India state and specially grown in Bengaluru, Karnataka (old Mysuru), and Tumakuru.
The skin of this fruit is yellow and reddish in color. it is rich in vitamins A and C. Its pulp is good for juices, drinks, and jams.
This mango variety becomes available in the market during the month of May and sooner than the mangoes, which lasts till the beginning of the month of June.
10. Hapus mango
This variety mostly grows in Maharashtra and is now also grown in Gujarat, Karnataka state in India. it is also considered a very expansive variety because it is exported all over the world.
And for those who love mango very much. In Maharashtra (Marathi social group) a mango fair is held from May 25 to 26 where you can see all types of mangoes.
And they are also very expensive approx 12 mangoes from 500 to 1000 rupees. and this is so expansive because it is absolutely original.
11. Totapuri mango
Totapuri is rich in aromatic flavour and is mild in taste. It is not so sweet in taste, but it is eaten by mixing it with salad and different dishes.
Totapuri is good for blood circulation and reduces weight because is rich in antioxidants.
This mango skin color is a mix of red, and green. you can find this mango variety in south India (Telangana). its suitable ph value is 5.5 to 7.5
12. Banganapalle mango
Banganapella mango is one of the most recognized varieties of fruit in Andra Pradesh. it contains vitamins A & C . This mango is also called the king of fruit.
Banganapella is also known as (Safeda), and its taste and smell are unique. It also grows in India and Pakistan.
13. Mulgoba mango
Malgoa or another name Mulgoba is a vital mango cultivar that grows in Tamil Nadu and other parts of south India.
It is basically considered to be one of the best mangoes. its suitable PH value is 4.5.
14. Neelam mango
Neelam mango is perfectly shaped up to down and the skin is golden yellow with a floral aroma and an acidic-sweet taste.
It primarily grows in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka
