Stamina in Hindi – (सहनसीलता) is that thing which helps us to sustain physical and mental efforts for a long time.

Exercise is one of the best physical activities to regain your stamina, and also keep you energetic, and long-lasting for any trip.

If you want to improve stamina, so then push yourself a little bit every day, and challenge yourself to reach your daily goal.

And some exercises such as endurance, and resistance exercises, work wonders to improve stamina. they include:

These all exercises, especially endurance exercises enhance your oxygen level and provide your muscles with strength.

2. Caffeine

It is a natural substance that is most commonly found in coffee, tea, and cocoa plants.

Several pieces of evidence for the stamina-boosting power of caffeine are undeniable.

Research has shown that caffeine can improve endurance and enhance muscle strength. but what does caffeine do in our bodies?

It stimulates the central nervous system and by doing that it reduces fatigue and drowsiness, and also helps in recovering fast after exercise.

  • But how much caffeine is enough? the recommended dose is different by the different body for example – The recommended dose of a soccer player is considered to be 150 lbs.
  • And a footballer player is recommended a dose of 200 mg 1 hour before exercise. and the caffeine amount in each product is different.

NOTE: Do not consume too much caffeine, which is not good for internal health, also caffeine products contain a lot of sugar.

3. Breathing Activities

Exercise is good, but breathing exercises are also quite good to stay long-lasting in the match, but how?

Over time increases our lung capacity means – more oxygen to do physical activity, and also reduces stress and anxiety.

Deep breathing exercises are very vital to winning the match, here are some very effective deep breathing activities:

Both yoga asanas are very effective to improve lung capacity and stamina, but how do they?

  • Take a deep breath, hold for 6 to 8 seconds, then release, do this multiple times a day.
  • and gradually increase capacity, then release, do this method every day.

4. Listening To Music

If you are looking for improving stamina during running or gymming, then listening to music is also the best option.

Listening to music is also known to delay fatigue and improve performance.

I have personally seen that on me, that listening to music during gym, and any physical activities fire up inner power.

NOTE: Motivational music works better than simple music which helps us to do more exercises that are why most people listen to music in the gym.

Studies show that listening to your favourite music during physical activities has an impact on your heart rate, as your heartbeat goes slows down.

5. Add Carbs, and Protein to your Diet

In order to boost stamina, it is also vital that you focused on what you eat.

Eating healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner reflects a healthy lifestyle.

If we talk about carbs, so never compromise with carbs, because it is very vital to build muscles.

Also, increase starch and good sugar in our body, enhancing stamina and endurance in turn.

Good carbs food is:

  • Banana
  • sweet potatoes
  • popcorns
  • oranges
  • blueberries

What about protein – It is also essential for healthy bodies, so make sure you never skip the opportunity to eat a high-protein diet.

NOTE: Also, do not consume too much animal protein, because these are high in fat, which leads to being overweight.

6. Ashwagandha

It is also known as boosting energy levels.

Ashwagandha is an ancient medicinal herb, which might help in reducing stress and swelling, lowering blood pressure, and boosting immunity.

NOTE: In 2015 a study was conducted on 50 athletes, who took 300 mg capsules of ashwagandha for 12 weeks.

As a result, they saw a significant improvement in their cardiorespiratory endurance and overall quality.

A large dose of ashwagandha can lead to diarrhea, stomach pain, and vomiting. so make sure to take it in a moderate amount.

If you have diabetes, ulcers, cancer, arthritis, heart, kidney diseases, etc then talk to your doctor before consuming ashwagandha.

What Negatively Affects Our Stamina?

There are some things that affect our stamina negatively. they include:

  • Do not do anything means – no physical activity, no walking.
  • Low self-confidence
